New Compound Enzyme Preparation Helps Green Upgrade of Washing Industry

Recently, a new compound enzyme preparation in the field of daily cleaning caused widespread concern. This product achieves superior stain-removal performance by scientifically blending protease, lipase, amylase, and cellulase to fully harness their synergistic effects. Compared with conventional surfactant-based detergents, this enzyme formulation retains high activity even at room temperature or in cold water (15–25°C), effectively breaking down stubborn stains such as milk, blood, oil, and sauce. It increases stain removal efficiency by more than 30%. Meanwhile, the addition of enzyme preparations allows for a 40%–60% reduction in the amount of chemical surfactants used in the formulation, significantly lowering the ecological burden of detergent wastewater on aquatic environments. This product boasts excellent biodegradability, leaves no residue, and is non-irritating to the skin, aligning with the trend of eco-friendly consumption. Moreover, enzyme preparations do not consume energy during the washing process; they merely catalyze and accelerate the breakdown of stains, thereby effectively reducing laundry energy consumption. Experimental data show that using a laundry detergent containing this composite enzyme can achieve the same cleaning performance at 20°C as conventional detergents do at 40°C. Moreover, carbon emissions per kilogram of laundry washed can be reduced by approximately 35%. Currently, this technology has entered the stage of large-scale deployment, providing a core driving force for the laundry industry’s transformation and upgrade toward energy conservation, water efficiency, environmental protection, and high performance.
