Trichloroquinoline is a mixture of the following ingredients:

5,7-dichloro-8-hydroxyquinoline: 57% ~ 74%

5-chloro -8-hydroxyquinoline: 23% ~ 40%

7-Chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline: not more than 4%

According to different application areas, product purity can be divided:

Industrial grade: purity ≥ 95%, suitable for feed additives and industrial production.

Pharmaceutical grade: purity ≥ 98% ~ 99%, used for pharmaceutical intermediates and high purity experiments.

Purpose:

Feed additives: mainly used to control E. coli and Salmonella infections in the intestines of livestock and poultry.

Mechanism: By chelating with metal ions such as iron, copper and zinc, bacteria are prevented from using these essential metal ions, thereby inhibiting their growth and reproduction.

Other effects: direct effect on animal gastrointestinal smooth muscle, reduce gastrointestinal motility, improve the absorption rate of nutrients.
